you have to check your sound levels when recording....go to your microphone input in your computer settings and play with it....its trial and error. usually find it where your volume control is just right click it.
The cable is being replaced. Turns out it came from china -_-. When i recorded some stuff it would just get messy and would have a ugly distortioned sound.
