49. Tears In The Rain

Here's a bit of an odd mix -- I was shooting for some kind of combination between jazz, a bit of electronic, and psychedelic rock. I really like the flanger effect on the keyboards here. It sounds kind of (for lack of a better term) trippy. It all kind of gives this track an almost otherworldly sound. The violin is something I've gone back and forth about including for a while, because it doesn't quite seem tofit the electro-jazz sound of everything else. I left it in anyway.

The title comes from Roy Batty's famous monologue at the end of Blade Runner: "All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain."
