Blind people can dream too.
Jesse was confronted with a long coridoor. At the end lied a door. Above it was a sign that read: "THE BLIND CAN SEE SO MUCH".
Hesitant, Jesse turned the cold knob, and opened the door. Behind it?
Nothing.
Darkness invaded Jesses eyes, and he stumbled into the pit. He fell about 10 feet, and felt no pain upon impact. He looked back up, and saw then light emitted from the coridoor above. He stood up and started walking.
He heard his footsteps, and a faint echo. Curiosity flooded his mind, and he started walking faster, and faster. Until, something grabbed his face.
Jesse felt immediate panic. He suddenly woke up.
It was twilight now, the sun just eclipsing over the horizone.
"Damn, how long have I been out? It's cold. I better get going".
Jesse grabbed his cane, and pulled himself up.
Before he could take anymore steps, a man spoke, "I know what you were dreaming off".
Jesse lost his breath. It was the man he could not read nor know how he knew so much about him.
"Who are you"? asked Jesse earnestly.
"I am you, Jesse".
Jesse paused for a moment. His hands felt clamy, but, he couldn't control himself. He burst out laughing.
"You seem doubtfull". said the man.
"Well, because, that is impossible".
The man chuckled. "Not when I'm a figment of your imagination".
Jesse stopped. "What? a figment of my... what"?
"You created me, Jesse, the one person you can not read. I am one who can not have his mind invaded because, well, don't you know everything about me"?
"No". Replied Jesse. "I do not. And thats the weird part. I feel like you are a totally different person".
A relief was lifted off Jesse's shoulders it felt. "Finally. Someone".
A gust of wind brushed against Jesse's cheek. A chill ran through him up to his nose.
"May I ask you one last thing sir"?
The man had vanished.
"Sir"?
Jesse's hole of curiosity soon disipated, just like his mirage.
Despite how brief in his life it was, he felt a harmony he never felt before. He was in-sync.
