A man is walking through the desert, fatigued and dehydrated. Each step is an effort; he can't walk for much longer. He becomes lightheaded, but just before he collapses, he sees an oasis in the distance, filled with trees and fresh water. Fearful of hallucination, he hesitates, but starts toward the oasis regardless. He stumbles into the oasis to discover that it is real. He is saved.
