By profession I am a soldier and take pride in that fact. But I am prouder - infinitely prouder - to be a father. A soldier destroys in order to build; the father only builds, never destroys. Death is inevitable, and necessary. One should never fear death, but rather embrace it, as the beginning of something new. Some people enjoy war, some people despise war, but war will always exist, and it must be treated as a stage of life, a test of your strength and of your will. To strengthen the bond with your fellow brethren, to unite against a single foe. To test one's limits of courage, and skill. It brings out the ingenuity of people, when faced with certain death.
