04 CHRISTMAS EVE: (07 NOV 2007) 3:12
As a child nestles in for the night, excitement fills the thoughts with wishes and dreams of presents and toys to come. The clock ticks ever so loudly, making sleep difficult to obtain, but exhaustion finally gives in and sleep is filled with the dreams of toy soldiers, remote control vehicles, video games, candy, and all the fun imaginable. And yet, in the stillness of the night, noises are heard as though a visitor has come… is it Santa? Is it Daddy, or maybe even Mommy? Who knows? And while curiosity explodes within, the little child dares not get out of bed for fear of losing all those gifts… A quick tossing in the bed, a yawn, and a struggle to return to sleep, eventually a good night kiss is given by a loving parent, then the sound of someone eating the cookies and drinking the milk is soon followed by the crack of morning and the delight of a new day… and a new Christmas morning! What an exciting way to spend “Christmas Eve!”
