Christmas morning has finally arrived! This is a day that everyone has long awaited! The smell of a golden basted turkey, roasting in the oven, fills the air along with the aroma of fresh pies and other tasty treats. The children have eagerly climbed out of bed and ran down stairs to see what goodies are awaiting their tiny fingers and hands. A knock at the door is a warm welcomed sound as family and friends arrive excited to celebrate the blessed holiday of this festive season with you. Stepping in out from the cold blistery windy day into the warm home, filled with love and the smell of a wonderful fire crackling in the fire place, the house is filled with the love and joy of those you care most about. One of the children come up and ask how soon they can open their gifts, when you gently bend down to their level and kindly say that the time will be very soon.

As a child, Christmas dreams are often filled with candy, toys, snow, games, and every imaginable fun and exciting event. Yet the uncertainty of what Christmas will bring offers exciting hope and wishes of what is yet to be. As the years roll by, and we turn from children in adults, Christmas begins taking on a different perspective. We start to realize that it’s not what we get that makes Christmas so special but what we already have! Come; enjoy this music sound, envisioning the joy of Christmas with loved ones. For me, that is a room filled with my wife, children, and family is what I have for “CHRISTMAS DREAMS!”
