I have a strong belief that education = knowledge;
that knowledge = understanding, and that true understanding
alters our perceptions and our awareness of our selves,
our belief systems and our world.
All things on earth are alive,
and all things have a spirit, a message, and value.
Before we judge a culture, or a race, or an ethnic group,
or even a stand of trees,
we owe it to ourselves to learn all we can
so that we may understand the spirit
and the value of the thing being considered.
