This was my very first song created, and I didn't really have much of an idea as to where I was going. I started with the basiscs, laying down the bass and drum, and just added from there. After I felt the song was complete, I sat and listened to it a couple of times to try and get a feel of, more so so I could give it a nice title lol. It may just be me, but when listening to it, I was transported back to my graduation from high school. All the memories of the last twelve years that lead up to that moment, the good, the bad, and the ugly. The beginning is pure good times with the groovy bass, then towards the middle it swells into this sad but beautiful mess. That to me is the moment where you feel proud of yourself for getting to that point, but you are gonna miss what became routine to you. Then before the song ends, the strings are replaced with the bells that act as a hand drying your tears and that reassuring voice telling you everything's gonna be alright. Then...the fade out. I don't know, I could be just looking too deep into it, but that's my take on it. Hopefully, you will feel something similiar upon your listen :)
