Time
No concept album would be complete without a song pondering the abstracts of time, and the hopelessness of immortality.
I treated the bass, again, as a sort of heartbeat or timepiece. The other instruments represented a sort of vague attempt to push the hands back. The ending represented.. well.. an end, and the bass winds down to a flat shallow close to sort of show that idea off a bit. (morbid, I know. Isn't it delicious?)
