"Dr. Mason?" my assistant asks.
"Yes, Seria?"
"There's an intruder in sector five."
"Thank you for notifying me, Seria."
I rush to the cameras and check if the intruder appears to be armed. To my surprise, there is a teenage boy messing around with my alarm clock. I scurry to the scene, because as far as I can tell, the boy is unarmed.
"What are you doing here? How did you get past my defenses? Why are you holding my clock? Give it to me. NOW! Answer me!"
I am a bit harsh, but I am not in the mood for games.
The boy breathes, "I don't know...here's the clock..."
In a more gentle voice I say, "Here's the door. Unless you can tell me who you are and what you are doing here."
"I already told you, I don't know!"
The boy leaves with a barely audible, "'Bye, Mom."
