We left off with shilo being carried by her injured mother to a safe haven

Atemple secluded with in the city walls, the young anthro wolf pleading for them to take care of her only child and protect her from the evils that are looming near. The priest agrees. That night the mother leaves, leaving the cloak with Shilo. The mother never to be heard from again.
