"Roses were red,
Violets were blue,
But they no don't matter,
Long as I've got a buck or two.
Fame is my child,
Success is her brother,
We're all inseparable,
and nothing without the other.
I am Broadway,
I embody the american dream,
I always act happy,
But am I always what I seem?"
This song had a very happy and cheery vibe to it when I finished and it truly is a catchy tune to listen to, but I realized it may not convey the exact deceit that lies behind its radiant sound. The idea was: the front that is put on, almost magical, by Hollywood stars and other beings should be carefully sought for. Don't chase too foolhardily into pop culture. You might fall into the parade of wanna-bees and try-hards.
Stay sane,
~Nathan :)
