This would be a theme to go along with my original story in progress, the Mirror of Shadows. This piece in particular matches up with Gothica, one of the main characters and an early member of the Heroes' Guild. As a powerful sorceress, a crafty fighter, and a cynical teen who has had a hard life fighting alongside her younger brother in a hostile medieval world, it seemed only fitting to give her a song as exotic and strange and vaguely mysterious yet also fast-paced as she is. In reality, she was the first character I ever created, so as you can imagine she is intensely complicated.
