I once wrote a short story called Sleeping Beauty. But it was about a nurse who fell in love with the comotosed patient he was taking care of. Little by little she withered away every day. All he could do was wait for his sleeping beauty to wake up so he could meet her.

Meanwhile, a young girl lie trapped within her own dreams, lead through a perlious journey by a voice of someone she hadn't ever met. However, she knew she could trust the speaker somehow. And so her own battle began.

Much according the to original story, Sleep Beauty was woken up by her true love's kiss (CPR), and she lived happily ever after til the rest of her days (made a full recovery).
