I always try to tell a story in my songs that goes along with the title. This song startes out fast, meaning the speed of life. Then, after a while, you hear a slow guitar echo in the background. That's your first warning. But the song continues.
And, of course, the music at the end represents a 'welcome to a slow oblivion'.
